The Environment Social Governance (ESG) Summit: Highlighting the Importance of Sustainability in India
The recent Environment Social Governance (ESG) Summit held on 28th March 2023, organized by Prakruti Environment Research & Protection Centre, brought together more than 700 delegates comprising of experts, thought leaders, and enthusiasts, to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and collaborate on various aspects of environmental conservation and sustainability. The summit was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Parshottam Rupala ji, Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, and was attended by several other dignitaries, including Members of Parliament, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders.
The summit was aimed at promoting and generating awareness about ‘एकपेड़ देशके नाम’ – One Tree for Nation, the nationwide campaign by Paryawaran Savrakshan Gatividhi. The summit highlighted the global initiatives encouraged and accelerated in order to combat climate change under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
