Pre-Matric and Post matric scholarship approved
Ranchi, August 24: State cabinet gave its nod for the simplification of chief minister’s employment generation scheme (CMEGS).
Giving information about the decision of the cabinet, the cabinet secretary Vandana Dadel said that no guarantor will be required to take a loan of Rs 50,000 under this scheme. At the same time, on loan above Rs 50000, now employees working in government, semi-government, private institutions, retired employees, elected and former elected public representatives such as Mukhiya, Panchayat Secretary, MP, MLA, Ward members will also be able to become guarantors.
Till now only government employees, gazette officers used to become guarantors. Due to this, the youth of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes faced a lot of trouble in getting loans.
The name of Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana is now Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Growth Scheme
Approval has been received in the cabinet on the proposal to amend the name of Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana, which is operated under the state plan. The scheme has now been named as Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samvridhi Yojana.
Under the scheme, Rs 2500 will be deposited in the name of the girl child for enrollment in class eight, Rs 2500 in enrollment in class 9, Rs 5000 in enrollment in class 10, Rs 5000 in enrollment in class 11, and Rs 5000 for enrollment in class 12. A lump sum grant of Rs 20,000 will be given on the girl’s completion of 18-19 years of age. That is, the government will deposit a total of Rs 40,000.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Rs.36.00 crore has been sanctioned for giving 5 kg of food grains per beneficiary per month free of cost to the beneficiaries of National Food Security Act – 2013 for the period from April, 2022 to September, 2022.
Approval of nomination of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras as technical partner for carrying out research, technical facilities for minimizing the loss of life and property due to road accidents.
Approval for creation of total 1990 posts of medical officers and para medical personnel for newly created 134 primary health centers in the state.
The Jharkhand State Pre-Matric Scholarship Rules 2022 was also approved.
Under this, students belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes studying from class one to ten studying in state-run schools will now be given scholarship at an increased rate. The government has made a provision of Rs 841 crore for this. About 50 lakh students of the state will be directly benefited by this decision of the government. A total of 38 proposals have been approved in the cabinet. This includes the proposal to create the most prominent 50,000 posts of assistant teachers. The state government has given its approval to give compensation leave in respect of payment of honorarium equal to one month’s basic payable to fourth class personnel, constable, constable, assistant sub-inspector, sub-inspector and inspector in non-gazetted personnel of Jharkhand Police.
Jharkhand State Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Rules 2022 was also sanctioned in the cabinet, making changes in the Jharkhand State Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. Under the scheme, the eligible students will be given scholarship under the following courses in educational institutions, universities. In this, all professional courses are given in Group 1–A, Group 1B, Group 1C (Medicine, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Design Fashion Technology etc.), Scholarships given in Group 2A and Group 2B and Group 1 3 and Group 4 scholarships are included.
Approval has been given on the proposal to create a total of 50,000 posts of trained assistant professors (teachers) in the Hemant Soren cabinet. This includes 20825 posts of intermediate trained assistant professors in primary schools and 29,175 posts of graduate trained assistant professors in middle schools.
