Happy Friday, ladies. Crepey skin becomes more of a struggle the older I get, so I’m always on the hunt for a product that will reduce its appearance. There’s no end to the options out there, but I’m very particular about what I put on my body. I get approached by a lot of brands that sound pretty amazing, but I turn most of them down because they’re not cruelty-free. I also prefer clean products without a lot of nasty chemicals so that limits what I will try and use as well.
This post is sponsored by City Beauty; all opinions and content are my own.
When City Beauty offered to send me some products to try, the first thing I did was check to see if they tested on animals. I discovered that not only is City Beauty cruelty-free, but they’re also a Leaping Bunny and PETA-certified brand which is not an easy certification to get! They must meet rigorous criteria, and their ingredient suppliers must also meet them as well!
When the box arrived, the first thing I dove into was the Invisicrepe Body Balm. It’s loaded with hydrating ingredients that protect our skin barrier, which reduces the appearance of thin, crepey, and wrinkled skin. I apply it to my upper arms and knees right out of the shower. It has a pleasant scent and velvety texture that melts right into my skin. I also reapply it on my upper arms just before bed. They’re my wrinkliest spot so far, but my knees are coming in at a close second 🙂
I’m really enjoying this luxurious cream, and it does improve the look of my lax skin.
City Beauty is a new-to-me brand that’s trusted by over a million customers worldwide. Their products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, or mineral oil which is important to me. The company was founded on a single product that took off like a rocket, won the prestigious Good Housekeeping Award, and never looked back…creating product after product that has become customer favorites for many women. I’m anxious to try more of what they sent and will report back!
I’ve just started trying their Multi-Action Sculpting Cream, which leaves my face and neck so smooth. It turns out that this month, City Beauty will be featured in a film called Mack & Rita, starring Diane Keaton later this month which I’m excited to see.
City Beauty is having an amazing sale on both products and has generously offered my readers 50% off the Invisicrepe Body Balm and the Multi-Action Sculpting Cream with the discount code AWELLSTYLEDLIFE at checkout. The sale runs from today through 8/16, but if you happen to miss the sale dates, you can still save 15% with the same code.
