There really is no better way to kick off fashion month than with Copenhagen Fashion Week. The Danish capital is home to designers like Rotate Birger Christiansen and Ganni, and known for its electric use of colour, and an optimistic approach to fashion in general.
Scandi girls are also painfully cool in the beauty space, and so the Spring/Summer ’23 runways have seen a stack of have and makeup looks we’re planning on copying.
From poppy colour to raw skin, below you’ll find an edit of our favourite looks so far.

At Stine Goya, the standout detail was a ’60s-inspired white winged liner. Paired with raw skin and a glossy lip, it was clean, modern and cool.
Scandi girls are also known for their minimalistic tendencies, and the beauty at Martin Asbjorn was the perfect embodiment of this. Fresh skin, groomed but natural brows and a hydrated lip were all that was needed.
It was a similar story at Birger et Mikkelsen, but this time with a soft wash of colour on the cheeks, and a powdery, peachy lip.
It brand Ganni injected a pop of colour into their look, painting graphic wings in shades of blue, turquoise, fuchsia and lilac across the eyes. Throw in slick hair, a BMX bike and glossed skin for good measure.
If you want to update your rolodex of party beauty looks, go no further than Rotate Birger Christiansen. The Disco inspired show married lilac and aqua liner with shimmer, sequins, fresh skin and nude lips. And then there was the hair! From spiky crops to tiny, face-framing plaits, the inspiration was endless.
