I’ve been working on my cart for weeks, and I know I’m not the only one! The Sephora Spring Savings Event starts today, and this is really the best time to stock up on all of your go-to products as well as try out a few new things.
First, the details on the Spring Savings Event! You can shop multiple times in store and online with your discount (confession: I typically have at least 2 big orders during this event). You do need to be a Beauty Insider Member to get the discount (more on that in a bit, and remember that there are some exclusions to the discount), and your discount and dates are determined by your tier. If you’re not a Beauty Insider Member yet, this is the perfect time to sign up! It’s free, and you’ll get great perks like free samples, discounts and early access to products.
Starting today:
• Rouge Members get 20% off with SAVESPRING
• All Beauty Insider Members get 30% off the Sephora Collection. Note, this lasts for the entire Spring Savings Event!
If your tier isn’t included in the discount yet, don’t worry!
• VIB Members: 15% off with SAVESPRING starting 4/5
• Insiders: 10% off with SAVESPRING starting 4/7
This is the perfect time to start adding items to your cart for the event! You can check out my previous Sephora Hauls, and I’ll likely be repurchasing many of my staple products. Today, I thought I would share some of my all time favorites, and similar products that I’m currently trying out!
Dior Lippies
I may be slightly addicted to all Dior lip products. I have pretty much every color of the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss (the classic 001 pink is my favorite), and I have them stashed all over the place! The companion balm, Dior Addict Lip Glow is also one of my favorites. I’ll be stocking up on both!
The new Dior Lip Maximizer Serum went into my cart the moment I saw it on the Sephora site! This is more of a treatment product than a gloss, and it does nicely hydrate my lips without being sticky. Over time it promises to plump up my lips a bit.
Hair Treatment Mask
I am a sucker for a good hair mask, and I use a mask at least once a week. While my hair is damaged (I color it, use a lot of heat in styling), I try to keep a balance between masks that target damage and add moisture. I’ve had a lot of hair stylists tell me to use both, in the long run your results will be better.
Two of my stand-by products that I keep in my bathroom are Olaplex No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector and Olaplex No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Hair Mask. No. 8 repairs damage by restoring disulfide bonds in the hair, and No. 8 adds a nice boost of moisture.
I just bought the Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Rice Water Protein + Moisture Strengthening Treatment, which has 2 sides and will balance treating with protein and moisture. I love that you can apply this after you wash your hair for a quick 10 minute treatment, or leave it on longer for a more intensive treatment.
Under Eye Concealer and Corrector
I have a lot of under eye concealers and correctors, and while I reach for different products almost daily, there are some that are my go-to products. These are the ones that stay out of the drawer and live on my countertop. I keep them stocked at all times, I don’t want to run out!
Rather than piling on a ton of concealer, I always recommend starting with a color corrector. I go for a light peachy-tone, but if your skin tone is darker than mine or your under eye circles are more vibrant, I suggest going a bit oranger. My go-to correctors are Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector and NARS Radiant Creamy Liquid Color Corrector.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer has long been my go to concealer because it blends so perfectly. The new KVD Beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full-Coverage Concealer is a bit more coverage and also feels very lightweight.
Setting Powder
I swear by the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. I have it in travel and regular sizes, and I probably have 2 backups in my vanity drawer right now. It’s still in my Sephora cart to stock up. I love that I can use it all over with a brush or pick up just a little on a BeautyBlender (something else I also have in my Sephora cart) and target application under my eyes or in my t-zone. It never looks heavy and does not get cakey.
I’ve heard that the Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Talc-Free Vegan Powder is very similar, but it comes in a broader shade range and has slightly less coverage. I haven’t tried it yet, but I have it! I’m excited to try it out. I’m also trying the PAT McGRATH LABS Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder, I have friends that swear it is a game changer for the under eye area! I’ll report back.
Eye Primer
I’m one of those people that insists upon using an actual eye primer under my shadow, concealer or foundation just seems to crease and doesn’t off the staying power that I’m looking for. My go-to product (a drugstore brand) has been discontinued, which gives me an excuse to try something new!
I immediately snapped up PAT McGRATH LABS IntensifEYES Artistry Wand, which looks like the best glitter/shimmer primer ever. I’m really excited to try this under all of my glittery shadows, which it appears to intensify and really help with how long it stays put. I’m on the lookout for an everyday primer, let me know if you have a favorite!
What are you picking up during the Sephora Spring Savings Event? I would love to know your go to products!
