Last year was a landmark year for Allure for numerous reasons. In addition to 2021 marking the magazine’s 30th birthday, it was also the 25th anniversary of our annually anticipated Best of Beauty Awards, and we also opened our very first brick-and-mortar Allure Store. And you didn’t think we would open up an in-real-life beauty boutique and not pack the shelves with a slew of our Best of Beauty Award winners, did you? C’mon. You know us better than that.
Open since July 2021, the Allure Store welcomes shoppers at its Lafayette Street street location in Lower Manhattan, offering a wide variety of editor-loved hair, makeup, and skin-care products, as well as an interactive experience unlike any other: virtual shade try-ons, QR codes that connect to related and helpful content, smart mirrors, master classes, in-store events — basically the pages of Allure come to life.
Although there are products from more than 150 brands available at the Allure Store, we’d be remiss to not call out some of the biggest superstars: Best of Beauty Award winners. Below, check out some of the overachievers that you can find next time you stop into our little home away from home — er, store away from office.
