Kaia Gerber is revealing all of her skincare secrets and best believe we’re taking notes. The 20-year-old appeared in an interview with Refinery29 in the US overnight to document a week in the life of a supermodel. From 4am call times, to travel and training, we also gained valuable insight into the beauty products she uses daily, and there was once brand she couldn’t help but rave about.
In discussing her nighttime routine, Gerber revealed that “everything” she uses is Allies of Skin. Yes, the model admitted that she gets it all for free (no shame in a little sponsorship) but noted “they have literally changed my skin”. For the uninitiated, the brand was founded in Singapore by Nicolas Travis in a bid to create multi-functional skincare after he experienced severe acne as a teenager.
“After experimenting with my own skin and trying to fix my problems with every type of product you can think of, I realised that the only way to get the results I wanted was to create formulas myself,” the founder has written on the brand website. “I’ve spent the last decade developing and iterating on formulas, combining and experimenting with new active ingredients, and finding the right balance and amount of each one. What began as three original products has grown into an entire range to fit every step of your skincare routine.”
Gerber says she currently uses the cleanser, moisturiser, Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment as well as the CE15 Bakuchiol Oil mixed with the Night Cream.
The multi-talented celeb is currently living between Los Angeles and New York City as she juggles a modelling career and burgeoning acting career from Hollywood. Gerber is set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Mrs. American Pie alongside Kristen Wiig and Laura Dern. We suspect her new beau Austin Butler is also situated in Los Angeles, making the six-hour flight all the more worth it.
She recently made a cameo in a cover photoshoot with the ELVIS star for the V-Man Fall/Winter 2022 issue.
