It’s never too early to to keep an eye out for beauty advent calendars, especially given that summer is (sadly) coming to an end. The best part? Every Christmas, they only get better. And let’s be real, is there a better way to count down to December 25th than opening up new makeup, perfume or skincare goodies every day for a month? If you’re already thinking about how to treat your beauty-obsessed friend, a relative (or even yourself, why not?) during the holiday season, you’ve come to the right place.
Every year, tonnes of beauty brands are known to drop their beauty advent calendars, which are packed full of their best-selling and most-trending products (which, if purchased separately, would cost a whole lot more than the total calendar price). It’s a paradise for any beauty enthusiast.
Last year, we saw the best beauty advent calendars to date released by industry-leading beauty brands (like Jo Malone, LookFantastic, Clinique and Huda Beauty). And this year promises to be even more epic. Quite a few brands are still yet to announce their beauty advent calendar plans for 2022 (it is only August, after all). But leading beauty e-tailer, Cult Beauty, are launching their beauty advent calendar waitlist today.
Cult Beauty advent calendar 2022
That’s right: you can already join the waitlist for the Cult Beauty advent calendar, which is not only 20% bigger than their 2021 edition, but it’s also worth over £1,000 (retailing for just £235). Featuring 37 products (13 of which are full-sized), this beauty advent calendar includes treats from top-tier brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Byoma, 111SKIN, The INKEY List and more. Plus, the 25th door hides not one but six beauty goodies for you to truly pamper yourself on Christmas day.
And that’s not even the best part. Owners of the Cult Beauty advent calendar also have a chance to find a Golden Ticket tucked inside, which is worth £1,000 (!) to shop till you drop (virtually). There are three Golden Tickets in total, and while they may not take you to a chocolate factory, you’ll still have one heck of a spree, shopping all of the beauty products on your wishlist (and more!). Cult Beauty have not come to play.
Oh, and Cult Beauty has shared that they will be donating over £75,000 from the sales made from their advent calendars to Mental Health UK and will be working with (more:trees) to plant one tree per each advent calendar that is sold. You’ll be contributing towards a good cause as well as your beauty collection.
Here’s everything you need to know about the best beauty advent calendars that will be hitting the virtual shelves in 2022.
When do beauty advent calendars go on sale in 2022?
The closer we get to winter, the more beauty advent calendars we’ll see. But that’s no reason to leave it till end of November, ‘cos by that time, most will have already sold out. We’re likely to see more releases as we step into autumn.
What brands have a beauty advent calendar in 2022?
Last year, we saw over 70 beauty advent calendars hit the market, each packed with bestselling moisturisers, lipsticks, scented candles, shower gels, mascaras, eyeshadows and more. And they sold like hot cakes. Take the Fortnum & Mason beauty advent calendar and Charlotte Tilbury’s long-awaited makeup advent calendar, Beauty Dreams and Secrets advent calendar, for example. They were all out of stock by October. We’re expecting Fortnum & Mason and Charotte Tilbury to drop beauty advent calendars in 2022, as well as brands like MAC, Selfridges, Clinique, John Lewis, Glossybox, ASOS and Dr. Barbara Sturm.
If you’re keen to discover the very best beauty advent calendars before it’s too late, make sure to bookmark this page as we will be updating it regularly as more options pop up later in the year.
