TCL Chinese 6 Theatre, Hollywood
‘Temple Beauty’ centres on Amber Osborne, who owns and operates Temple Beauty Supplies in Compton, CA. When she opened an adjacent mini-mart in February 2020, no one would have predicted how the rest of the year would unfold. With the mini-mart making her store an essential business, Osborne and her family first worked to keep in stock what her community needed to survive a pandemic and later the pain and anguish that resulted in the Black Lives Matter protests.
