2011 Beauty & the Geek participant Jordan Finlayson was convicted and sentenced on Wednesday to a 12-month community corrections order after pleading guilty to possessing identity information to commit an indictable offence.
Finlayson, 31, who was runner-up when the series screened on Seven, was arrested on February 17 after driver’s licences and debit cards belonging to three men from a bucks party were found on her phone.
She has remained in custody ever since, this week pleaded guilty to possessing identity information.
Daily Telegraph reports she was sentenced to a Community Corrections Order to be served in the community for 12 months.
However, Finlayson will have to undergo a further parole hearing for the breach as a bid for release and is expected to attend rehabilitation for drug use.
In April 2020 Finlayson was sentenced to two years and three months in jail for drug-related offences, but was granted parole last September after serving 15 months, before returning to custody following the recent arrest.
Last year she told the court her life had spiraled out of control after her fleeting 15 minutes of fame on the reality show and said being in jail now had potentially saved her life.

In 2011 when appearing on BATG she said, “I love making people laugh and I love people making me laugh. And, you know, if I’m bored, I will find something to amuse myself or something funny to do. I don’t think I have any bad qualities, to be honest.”
Separately, last month a contestant from the Nine 2022 series was convicted and fined $500 following high range drink driving and disqualified from driving for six months.
