Kim Kardashian and North West are back to their regular programming after a whirlwind trip abroad. That means their TikTok page @kimandnorth is back in action, too. On August 1, West gave her mom the ultimate cartoon transformation — a Minion makeover. Yes, you heard that right. We’re talking full-fledged black spectacles, blue lips, and a face beat from top to bottom in Minion yellow.
Shall we continue, or are you already painting the image in your head? With a total of 19.3 million views (and counting), the TikTok video showcased a complete step-by-step tutorial from West’s lens of how Kardashian’s transformation came to be. The results are kinda — actually, no — absolutely charming, sweet, and funny. I’m not surprised.
The mother-daughter duo had a full line-up of four colorful eye shadow palettes ready to commence the makeover. West began by applying an ultra-white shade of concealer to the base of Kardashian’s face. Then came, all the Minion’s signature yellow tones. Using the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush, she covered the base of Kardashian’s face in yellow eye shadow, then concealed the look with sparkling gold glitter — everywhere except for the eyes, of course, where West outlined the black goggles without a hitch. Touché, North!
To top it all off, a song from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack played in the background.

West finished off Kardashian’s Minion makeover with some gold glitter added to the lips as well. She then brushed the lips with electric-blue eye shadow in what appears to be the shade Ride-or-Sky from the now-discontinued Morphe 24A Artist Pass Artistry Palette.
Listen, maybe West gave the Kardashians’ longtime makeup artist Ariel Tejada a call prior to her Minion glam session. But even so, Kardashian continues to give the 9-year-old full reign to practice her creative nature on her face — now that‘s parenting in a nutshell.
