Venus Introduces The First Dermaplaning Skincare Regimen with OLAY
The new Venus for Facial Hair & Skin Care Collection with OLAY offers an innovative, easy three-step dermaplaning routine perfect for achieving an envious glow. With a cleansing primer, dermaplaning razor, and hydrating serum, this groundbreaking collection offers a comprehensive regimen that has been dermatologically tested for sensitive skin.
“Dermaplaning is something many women are doing or are interested in but can sometimes feel overwhelming to adopt into their beauty routines. We are now excited to introduce a complete dermaplaning regimen with Venus for Facial Hair & Skin Care with OLAY to allow every person to glow their way,” said Dana Malcolm, Senior Brand Director, North America P&G Female Shave Care.
The cleansing primer serves as a non-astringent formula that prepares skin for dermaplaning, sweeping away debris and leaving facial hair and skin clean and refreshed without drying out. The hydrafresh technology with cucumber and aloe works to optimally hydrate facial hair and skin. The result? The perfect canvas for the dermaplaning razor.
Designed with a high-quality blade surrounded by Skin Defense Guard, rounded protective tip for safety and easy blade change, the dermaplaning razor provides an efficient and comfortable shave. The cartridge of the razor is also refillable, making it a more sustainable choice compared to common disposable options. The blades’ edge is up to 20% thinner than other similar products, reducing the force needed to cut through hair.
The hydrating serum envelopes the skin in a water-based formula that replenishes hydration after dermaplaning, soothing and refreshing the skin. With hyaluronic acid, witch hazel, and vitamins B3 and B5, the serum leaves the skin smooth and bright, while being non-comedogenic, oil-free, and fragrance and dye-free.
A mini hair remover is also available for touch-ups, with unique rotary system blades that are gentle on the lips, chin, and cheeks, and a built-in smart light to spot any unwanted hairs.
“In our research, we found that women were looking for clarity on the best way to care for their skin while dermaplaning. There was a need for a full regimen, with specially formulated products to use throughout the process,” said Elizabeth Compo, Senior Scientist for P&G Female Shave Care. “In addition to efficacy, we also heard that safety was top of mind, which is why we ensured all products in the collection are dermatologically tested for sensitive skin and endorsed by the Skin Health Alliance.”
Venus strives to provide solutions for women of every grooming routine, with their commitment to every woman’s right to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin at the forefront of their product innovation.
The full skincare regimen, including the cleansing primer, dermaplaning razor, hydrating serum, and mini hair remover, are available at all major retailers where Venus products are sold.
