Do you see it? The sun is actually shining, and I’m loving it!!! The forecast doesn’t look promising for the entire next week, but I’m living in the moment, and it is sunny! I posted this Chico’s fall transition outfit on Instagram Thursday, but I forgot to schedule it for the blog. Go and grab a cup of coffee or tea, and join me as I tell you about this outfit and why it is a great transition look.
I regularly get emails from ladies who are having a hard time figuring out how to shop my links, so I’m going to try and make it easier for you. Any word that is BOLD and highlighted in a different color is a link to a product or a post. I have “attached” the links to my outfit to multiple photos to make it easier for you to click (on a laptop or computer) or touch (on a phone), and you will be taken to the item on the store’s website. Some of you might have a navy button-down shirt already hanging in your closet, so you can create a similar look quickly. I didn’t have one, and I loved the back detail on this one. It gives you a bang for your buck when you are coming and going. This is from the No-Iron collection, so that is another plus in my opinion.
Here is the button detail from the back. You don’t have to worry about buttoning all of those; the top will pop right over your head. I’m wearing a size 1, and the top sits great. I think this top is great for a fall transition outfit since you can roll the sleeves up when it is hot and let them down as it gets cooler. The top will look great with work pants or worn with a blazer. Plus, navy is a great neutral and can be worn with almost anything.
I’m all about versatility, so this Multi-Layer necklace caught my eye. You can detach any of the necklaces to create a personal look or wear each strand separately. You’ll find a lot of ways to wear this necklace, and it will look different every time.
This crossbody with the snake print side insert is also versatile. It is black on one side, and you can flip it to the brown side for a different look. I like the size of this crossbody; it is wide and holds a lot of items. I got my phone, sunglasses, and a small wallet in it and still had a little room.
For today’s Chico’s fall transition looks, I had a hard time deciding between two pairs of jeans, so I’m going to show both of them to you. The Sea Salt Bootcut Jeans are a pair that you can wear all year long. They aren’t as stark looking as white and might be easier for some to style after Labor Day. Bootcut jeans are a style that looks good on most people because it helps to balance out your lower half. I’m wearing my usual size .5, and they fit me great.
It wasn’t easy to get a photo of the leather slides since the grass hide them. So, I tried balancing on these rocks to give you a better view, and I might have fallen off a time or two. We did manage to get this photo that shows you some of the unique details of these slides. Notice the chunky heel with the gold line that runs around it. But, look closely at the inside of the heel, and see that it is lined in gold. Plus, the shoes have a tie with gold ends, all of which make these slides an elevated pair of shoes. They run TTS, and I’m wearing my usual size 9.
Here are the other pair of jeans that I mentioned earlier. These boyfriend ankle pants are in the color blue mist indigo. I like the comfortable and relaxed fit and higher rise of these jeans. The ankle length will be great for wearing with the high shaft boots that are trending this year or a pair of sneakers. I’m wearing my usual size .5, and you can see how they have a relaxed fit.
